Below are the steps you need to follow to enable MONEI’s payment gateway in your Wix store.
1. Create your MONEI account
Have you already activated your account? Skip to step two below.

2. Get the MONEI API Key
An API key is a code that is used to call on the MONEI API and identify your account. Each MONEI account has a unique API key.
To access and create your API key in MONEI:
- Go to API Access in your settings by clicking here
- Click on Create API Key
- Your API Key will be generated
You can generate two API Keys, one for test mode and one for live data. Once it has been generated you must copy it to use it later in the Wix control panel.
3. Choose MONEI as your payment gateway
Go to your Wix control panel. In the Settings tab, click Accept payments to choose the way your customers can pay you.
Then click See More Payment Options at the bottom of the screen to expand the list of options so you can find MONEI.
Find the option called MONEI and click on the Connect button. 
Within this page, you will be asked to enter the API Key provided by MONEI. Enter your API Key and select if you want to use sandbox mode (API Key Test) or not (API Key Live).
Once this is done click on the Connect button at the bottom of the same page.
Tip: You’ll be able to select a default currency while you’re creating your MONEI account. Make sure the currency you have configured in Wix and in your MONEI account are the same before you connect. To add additional currencies to your MONEI account, contact MONEI support here. 
Then you will see a window saying that you have connected your Wix shop with MONEI.
If you receive an error message, you may have entered your API Key incorrectly. Enter it again. If it still doesn’t work, contact Wix for assistance.
4. Set up payment methods within Wix
To configure the MONEI payment methods in Wix click on Manage
Then you will see the option to change the API Key mode.
Note: Sandbox mode is for API Key testing. If you don’t enable sandbox mode your API Key will be live.
MONEI also offers the option to pay with Credit/Debit Cards within the Wix payment pages. To activate it, change the top switch that appears on the right that says Not Accepting Payments. 
Once you change the switch Credit/Debit Cards within Wix will be activated and it will say Accepting Payments.
Recommended tip: You can choose to only activate the credit/debit card payment method within Wix, but by also activating MONEI you’ll be able to accept credit/debit cards and all the alternative payment methods you have configured in your MONEI account. See #6 below to learn how to activate more methods of payment in your MONEI account.
5. How MONEI integrates with your Wix checkout page
When your customer wants to complete their payment, the payment options you have activated in the Wix control panel will appear.
The customer will be able to choose their preferred payment method. If they choose Credit/Debit Cards, the option to enter the card details will appear.
If the customer wants to pay with an alternative payment method, they can select MONEI and click Continue. Then they will be redirected to your Hosted Payment Page.
In the Hosted Payment Page, your customer will be able to see all the payment methods you have enabled in your MONEI account. Then they can choose an available payment option and complete their order.
6. Configure payment methods in your MONEI account
Accepting more payment methods helps you reach more people, improve the customer experience, and increase your conversion rate. If you haven’t already done so, you can configure a range of payment methods in your MONEI account.
