If you’d like to set up dynamic descriptors for card payments in your account, create a support ticket, and a member of our risk department will help you enable this feature.
Understanding statement descriptors
A statement descriptor is the text your customers see on their bank account statement to identify transactions. The more recognizable your descriptor is, the less likely you are to receive disputes or chargebacks. Card networks and banks require you to include certain information to help customers understand their statements, which is the main purpose of statement descriptors.
When you activate your account, a fixed or static statement descriptor is set up and shows up on all customer statements. For card charges, you can also set up dynamic descriptors that contain a static prefix associated with your account and a dynamic suffix that changes with each card charge. This lets you include details about the product or payment on the customer's credit card or bank statement.
